This adaptive reuse of a warehouse as an arts and movement education and performance space subtly transforms the building. The interior was designed with movement in mind: public spaces meander and flow from one gathering spot to another. A former driveway ramp inside the building became a dynamic route for summer camps that doubles as an impromptu tiered performing space, drawing light and life to the lower level. A 135-seat experimental theater space was designed as a rustic shell to encourage the vital rawness of creativity. This community center and arts space combined creates opportunities for community gathering and cultural enrichment for people of all ages and abilities.
