“Even a tiny space could be a stage for a living story." Li believes these daily stories behind architectural dwelling units should be well developed and programmed.
Li came from China, finished his undergraduate degree in Chengdu and then completed his M.Arch from the University of Minnesota Twin Cities. During the time in Minnesota, Li utilized his unique cultural background to encourage the U.S. and Chinese architecture communication. He was a teaching assistant for Chinese tour program in 2015, introduced the recent featured architectural achievements and translate the Chinese architects’ presentation.
Today, he is an architect in Wiencek Associates Architects, a registered architect in D.C., a member of the D.C. chapter of the AIA and a member of Emerging Architects Committee.
As a junior architect, Li is trying to develop the experience on all architectural phases from pre-design to construction administration. In the past three years, he participated in many featured projects in Wiencek Associates Architects as well as playing a significant role in Wiencek BIM system development and maintenance.
With more than 3 years of background in Multi-Family Residential, Affordable housing, Mixed-Use, Senior housing projects in the D.C. metropolitan area. Li has built up a strong connection with local architects’ community and developed his own perspective on architecture and decide to keep investing his time for that.
