Carl Skooglund

AIA, CDT

Project Manager

Since joining the field of architecture in 1986 Carl has held positions in small & large architecture firms and a non-profit housing developer. In both new construction and renovation, he has experience in affordable housing, restaurant, hospitality, mercantile, high-rise residential, office, mixed use and government projects.

As a Project Architect, his primary responsibilities include the completion of design development and contruction documents, and coordination of design consultants.  He also has many years’ experience providing construction administration services, developing standard corporate procedures and helping significant construction projects be completed ahead of schedule and under-budget.

After studying architecture outside Florence and traveling Europe in 1985, Carl became a lover of cities: compact, diverse, walkable, vibrant, humanely scaled and neighborhood-oriented.  He is equally interested in ensuring the benefits of cities are available to disadvantaged communities through affordable housing and high quality public facilities.
